Ethan was a very much wanted 1st child for us and 1st grandson for both grandparents. We were all delighted when he found out he was a boy at my 20wk scan and he was named Ethan from that day onwards. I didnt have the best pregnancy due to sickness up to 20wks plus but when I was took in hospital and told I had the start of pre-eclampsia I couldnt understand cus I felt great it was the best I had felt all pregenancy so it was a big shock to me. I was monitored very well and was given scans daily at one point but due to him not growing the decision for him to be born was took out of our hands and I was told the morning of the 19th September I was going to have c-section at 2pm that day so they could get him out and he could grow on the outside. We were excited to meet him but very scared I was 32 weeks pregnant and I knew the implications of premature birth and was terrified. We didnt even know if he would be breathing when he was born breathing he was well more than just breathing he was screaming his little head off and kicking his arms and little chicken legs as we called them.
We called Ethan our little man as this just suited him as he was only just under 3lb, so tiny yet so perfect. We miss and love him dearly. He was born 19th Sept 2007 at 2:53pm and died 8 days later on the 27th Sept at 12:30pm. Due to him being 8 wks premature he needed help and support of a ventilator but unfortunatly he got an infection which took over his tiny body. He fought to stay with us for 8 days he was such a fighter but unfortuantly lost his fight. We love him so much and miss him loads. Love you always our little man love mommy and daddy. xx
Merry christmas 4th christmas in heaven
To our little man Merry 4th christmas in heaven above we miss you lots and would of loved to see our over excited 3 yr old running about opening his mountain of pressies instead we take them to your resting place, we ask ourselves why? But never seem to get the answers, maybe one day when we meet again we will. We wish you could be here playing with your little brother. Hope you have had fun playing with your friends and family today. We love you loads always and forever Mommy, Daddy and little bro Evan xxxx
Happy 3rd birthday our little man
As the years go by our hearts still ache as the years go by we r still without u but we promise u sweetheart that as the years go by we remember the memories and precious moments we had with u and they will never leave us untill we meet again. We have so many wishes and so many dreams that will never be fullfilled so many things we would love to see u do and so many hearts that are broken that will never be replaced untill we meet again.
We hope u have had a lovely birthday in the clouds darling hope u enjoyed your angel party. We miss u more than words could say we wish we could watch u grow and play with your little bro but untill we meet again we will dream of all these things our hearts will always have that piece u took missing untill we meet again.

Belated Christmas and New year wishes.
We are so sorry little man this is so late mommy and daddy was so busy on christmas day with your little brother and coming to your garden to open your presents that santa had left at our house for u. Hope u had a lovely time with aunty Sarah and your great Grand parents i bet u were spoilt i know u were spoilt by everyone here. We missed u so much this year with having your little brother it made us realise what we have missed out on with u and this year u would of understood what was happeneing and be excited about santa coming. We really wish u could be here to play with your little bro we can imagine u both together u would be a right pair of terrors. Evan is a little live wire he reminds us of u when u were in hospital we look at him and laugh and say he is just like u and how strong u were. We hope u liked your presents we put your door name sign up the other day on yours and your brothers room it looks lovely. U had so many lovely presents mommy and daddy r going to save some money in your money box off Aunty Lisa, uncle Chris, Sophie and Bradley for some things for your garden. Hope u had a lovely new year and u had a party with all your angel friends and family. Mommy and daddy havent forgot u baby we still think about u everyday and u were in our thought all day long christmas day wishing things were different. We miss you loads and love you loads too love always and forever Mommy, Daddy and baby bro Evan xx
